The seminar on intellectual property and medical devices discusses different challenges and approaches for obtaining patent protection for medical devices. There is a focus on the different ways of claiming medical devices, in particular method claims and use claims. This seminar also covers the scope of available protection in various jurisdictions for medical devices.
