Kathleen Coulter

Kathleen Coulter is committed to shaping natural resources law and policy to advance sustainable development and environmental justice. Kathleen holds a dual law degree from the University of Alberta and the University of Colorado. She also has a graduate certificate in renewable and sustainable energy from the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute at the University of Colorado Boulder and an honours bachelor of arts in international and global studies from the University of Central Florida.
Kathleen has conducted legal research for Stantec’s Environmental Services group, the Governors’ Climate and Forests Task Force and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. She has been involved with the Girl Scouts for more than 20 years and was selected to represent the group at the 2013 United Nations Climate Change Conference. Before law school, Kathleen taught English in the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
Kathleen was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to Canadian parents and moved to Florida soon after. Kathleen has enjoyed travelling around the world for work and studies, but is happy to now be living in Toronto with her partner, Rob.
