Susan Paetkau

Susan is a social policy maker who collaborates with citizens, innovators, experts and stakeholders to discover, build and spread new approaches to drive system change. She is committed to engaging young people in designing and building for their own future. At the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Susan led the development of the Ontario Mental Health and Addictions Strategy, launched Ontario’s Aging at Home Strategy and modernized the Ontario Drug Benefit program. She has also worked at the Ministries of Education, Training, Colleges and Universities, Cabinet Office, and as a pharmacist early in her career.
