Incubation for change makers

Office space for entrepreneurs

Here at MaRS the development and support of entrepreneurs comes in the form of a suite of services that we believe will help propel new business ideas and projects to success. We provide in-person educational event series’ for entrepreneurs — from the nuts and bolts of setting up a new business to learning the trends of their industry and networking. It’s complemented through our online Entrepreneur’s Toolkit — a huge reference library of business topics to help you set up your start-up.

advisors cater to the next level of business development – strategic planning, market intelligence, legal and financial advice. And for the entrepreneur who qualifies, it might mean incubation in our office and lab spaces.

Space is important and there are others who complement the services we provide entrepreneurs at MaRS. As anyone who works in the social venture space knows, the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI), currently located at 215 Spadina Avenue, has just opened their new Annex on Bathurst street and they want to show it off to you.

CSI rarely has office suites available but with the opening of this new space they can now offer you a “chance to become part of our dynamic community of social change organizations”.

The rates are incredibly reasonable and include 24/7 access, high-speed internet, meeting rooms, kitchen, copiers “and everything else you may need to make change in the world”! If you don’t need a full office but perhaps just a desk space, it’s also an option there.

If you are interested but want to find out more information, please join CSI at 720 Bathurst Street for one of two information sessions.

Change making can be hard work but you don’t have to do it alone, check out the space and find your community. (Of course, if MaRS is the place for you, don’t be shy: come check us out!)
