Can you describe your business in 60 seconds or less?

Presenting yourself effectively is an essential tool in the business arena and can spell the difference between success and missed opportunities. This is the premise for TechAlliance’s annual 60-Second Pitch Contest. This unique three-step program ensures that our member organizations are shown the road to success and are given the opportunity to compete for over $30,000 in business acceleration resources, products and services.

We are pleased to announce the 2010 winners!

First place went to Mike Schmalz, President of Digital Extremes, a London-based gaming company that was founded in 1993 and currently ranks as one of the world’s top development studios in the interactive entertainment industry. Not hard to believe when their roster includes blockbusters like Dark Sector, BioShock and most recently BioShock 2. Mike took home a prize package valued at $18,250!

Second place was captured by Erin Brinen, Account Manager at Echidna Solutions, a company that has been providing web-based solutions and amazing customer service since 1999. Echidna’s client list is comprised of a number of impressive commercial entities, non-profit organizations and business associations. Erin was awarded with a prize package valued at $9,520.

Third place went to Scott Thomson, owner of MarkeTech Solutions, an entrepreneurial enterprise focused on strategic brand management and tactical coordination of strategic plans. Scott and his start-up venture received $4,300 in prizes.
