In the past few years Buffalo has built a vibrant health innovation hub that was recently profiled in Wired magazine. The hub integrates key players such as:

– Jacobs Institute – a health innovation centre in the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus that connects medical technology innovators to clinical receptors;

– Kaleida health (an innovation driven health delivery organization that connects ventures to clinical front lines); and

– dig Buffalo (Design Innovation Garage – a maker space and co-working space for startups located within the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus)

Health innovation ecosystem players who want to learn from the Buffalo experience and/or who wish to plug in to this emerging US health ecosystem that is less than 2 hours away are invited to take part in a panel discussion with:

  • Dr. Adnan Siddiqui an entrepreneurial neurosurgeon with the Jacobs Institute
  • Mike Springer, Director of Operations and Entrepreneurship at the Jacobs Institute
  • Niall Wallace (Infonaut) founder of an Ontario-born health company who’s company is embedded within this ecosystem in Buffalo
