MaRS hosts several events for researchers, policy makers, entrepreneurs, investors and patients on a regular basis. Here are a few that are happening this November:

Interested in rubbing elbows with some of Toronto’s hottest health startups? Come hear successful entrepreneurs discuss the challenges and opportunities faced in launching their organizations.
The Changing Nature of Health Care: Virtual Care, Digital Health and TeleHealth
The Conference Board of Canada’s Centre for the Future of Health, along with MaRS Discovery District, invites you to take part in this event where we will explore and discuss telehealth. Evidence will be shared on the impact of existing telehealth and digital health on health care system performance, health care costs, and health outcomes. The event will include: International Presentation by NHS England, a panel of Ontario Health System leaders, and tech fair of innovative digital health companies.
How You Can Advance Innovation in Complex Health Organizations
The first in a four part health innovation partnership series between MaRS and the GTA Chapter of the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) will focus on how complex healthcare organizations must – and can – embrace intrepreneurship to advance innovation. Zayna Khayat, Senior Advisor in Health System Innovation at MaRS, and members from the MaRS Solutions Lab team will entice the group to think provocatively about how they can be intrapreneurs that drive innovation in their own organizations.
MaRS and McKesson Canada presents: “Why Healthcare Needs More Innovation Not More Dollars”

Though more healthcare dollars are often seen as the panacea for fixing the ills of the system, it is McKesson Canada’s view that the missing ingredient is innovation in how healthcare is delivered.
